Gavin Tee, Founding President of SwhengTee International Real Estate Investors Club, shared with attendees of the recent “Rich & Famous” investors dinner that in his recent forecast, Malaysia's condo prices will likely reach RM5,000 psf within the next five years. He qualified his forecast, stating that it would be applicable to the best of high-end developments, and that the average mid-end condominiums will remain fairly affordable. He also briefed the possible progress on the coming Real Estate “Golden 10 Years” and the impact of the new MRT projects.
About 200 guests had attended the '2011 Real Estate Investors Chinese New Year Dinner', organised by the SwhengTee International Real Estate Investors Club and held recently at the Ballroom Level 5, Cititel Hotel, Mid Valley City, on Saturday, 19th February 2010, at 6.30pm. The dinner was a lavish 'Rich & Famous' affair, bringing professionals, investors, property agents, bankers and real estate developers together.
The function was graced by distinguished guests, such as Tan Sri David Lai, Managing Director of Bandacaya Group; Datuk Seri Tan Chai Ho, MCA Treasurer General; Dato' Yeat Sew Chuong, Founder & CEO of INSBIO Group; Dr. Oh Ei Sun, Political Secretary to Prime Minister; Seet Meng Hui, Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad; other successful developers and investors such as Datuk Michael Wong and Dai Xiao Hua; and various media representatives. Particpants came from Malaysia, China, Iraq, Singapore, Dubai and Taiwan.
Programme highlights of the event included a Yoga performance by mYoga Malaysia (http://www.myoga.com.my/); a wine investment presentation by Chad Merchant, Executive Director, Premium Liquid Assets Sdn Bhd, which treated dinners with quality wine at the event; and a lucky draw featuring Ho Chin Soon's Kuala Lumpur wall map as the top prize.
