Kuala Lumpur, 15 July 2012 - The SwhengTee International Real Estate Investment Club has today launched “SwhengTee International Real Estate Exchange Center” (SIREC), a one-stop center that provides all the resources on property that the public or investors need. A first of its kind concept in Southeast Asia, SIREC functions as an activity, educational and exhibition centre for real estate trading, consultancy and investment services.
The launch of this unique concept was held at mYoga in Mid Valley, and witnessed by the All Star US PRO-Basketball Alumni, in the presence of such distinguished ex-NBA players as Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant, Jason Williams and Mitch Richmond, together with the President of PBAA, Mr Charles Smith and Coach Oscar Robertson.
“The concept is just like a stock exchange where buying and selling takes place surrounded by ample resources related to property such as a library and a bookstore stocking books on real estate, a café with a property theme, seminar rooms and a permanent exhibition space that allow real estate and marketing professionals to conduct their activities and events,” said Gavin Tee, Founding President of SwhengTee International Real Estate Investors Club.
Elaborating further, Tee, a seasoned property speaker, revealed how it has always been a vision for SwhengTee club members to have a one-stop resource center housing everything that a property investor would need. “This dream has finally turned into reality when we set up SIREC following our purchase of VSQ Corporate Tower 2 in Petaling Jaya.”
SIREC’s objective is to promote a healthy property investment environment through education and information in order to empower investors, as well as act as a platform for networking and mutual support.
In line with this, the VSQ premises is also envisioned to house all property investor clubs, and service providers such as real estate agents, valuers, developers, lawyers, architects, interior designers, feng shui masters, and financial advisers. The permanent exhibition space can be rented out on a short-term basis by developers and marketing agents to market their properties. There is also an international section to cater for all overseas properties.
Anyone is free to visit and no fees are charged for visitors as the venue is specially designed to provide the utmost comfort and convenience for them during every stage of their property purchase, Tee said, adding that the visitors could easily get advice and survey the market, all under one roof.
“SIREC, due to commence operations in January 2013, will eventually become a landmark for all property buyers and investors. This will be very advantageous to the tenants when many of the industry’s professionals set up their base there,” Tee added.
The launch of SIREC today will be witnessed by the world-renowned former NBA legends and members of the All Star US PRO-Basketball Alumni consisting of Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant, Mitch Richmond and Jason Williams. The basketball stars, many of whom are keen property investors, have been specially invited here by SwhengTee for a one-day tour. They are scheduled to play at Shah Alam Malawati Stadium tomorrow night.
